Illuvium, an open-world RPG (role playing game) that has been in development since 2020. It promises to bring more shine and polish to the blockchain gaming experience with beautiful 3D graphics built on Unreal Engine 4. Illuvium is a game about a survivor that has crash landed on a strange world called, Illuvium. The player will have to learn how to become a hunter-traveler unlocking the secrets of this broken world and the fauna within it. Established on the Ethereum Blockchain, Illuvium is gaining the attention of diverse communities from casual gamers to Defi fans.
The core of the game features unique Illuvials (NFTs), the native creatures that populate the vast and beautiful 3D land of Illuvium. The gamer will hunt, capture, and collect the mysterious Illuvials to fight on battle boards and to provide clues into the cause of the event that shattered the land. They are also the key to increase opportunities of success in-game, which means rewards of real-world money.
The gameplay reveal trailer was released October 30th, 2021, giving viewers a sneak peek at what lies ahead in the vibrant new world. The open beta is set to release sometime in the first quarter of 2022.
